The Cyberabad police on Tuesday registered a case against four engineering students for allegedly ragging junior student Rohit Siddarth at an exam centre in Pet Basheerabad. Rohit is the brother of actor Nikhil.
The case was booked based on Rohit’s complaint. Police said Rohit was preparing for exams near a canteen when the accused picked up an argument with him for not greeting them.
They thrashed Rohit and damaged his spectacles. On coming to know about the incident, Nikhil rushed to the spot and consoled his brother. He req-uested the police to take stern action against the accused.
