ELURU: The police arrested five students of Vasavi Engineering College at Pedatadepalli in West Godavari district on Friday on the charge of ragging, involving a first year EEE student.
According to Kovvuru Deputy Superintendent of Police G. Janaki Sharmila, a case of ragging was registered against M. Krishna Chaitanya, Varun, Ramakrishna, Jagadeesh and Vamsi, all second year students, following a complaint from the victim, Akhilesh.
