VARANASI: In a new twist to the alleged ragging incident reported at Dhanwantari Hostel under Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), BHU, Dr Meenakshi Pandey, one of the residents of Pediatrics Department, has lodged an FIR against Hansraj Meena at Lanka police station.
The Lanka police has registered an FIR under section 323, 354, 504 and 506 of IPC against Meena, who had earlier lodged FIR against two residents of Pediatrics Department on July 5. According to station officer, Lanka, AK Singh, Hansraj Meena lodged an FIR against two residents of Pediatrics Department - Ankur Sharma and Indra Kumar Singh Choudhary, alleging charges of violent clash and ragging in the hostel.
While the matter was being investigated both at varsity and the police level, a new twist took place when Dr Meenakshi Pandey filed named FIR on July 08, alleging charges of eve-teasing. "We are investigating the matter from every possible angle to reach a conclusion."
