Hisar, July 24

Three students of College of Veterinary Sciences of CCS Haryana Agricultural University were arrested last night on a charge of ragging freshers. They have been identified as Amit, Devendra and Vishal. Three others — Chirag, Abhimanyu and Parveen Yadav — were reported to be missing.

Official sources said they “forcibly” took several freshers residing in Vrindavan Hostel to the university research farm. While they were being allegedly ragged university officials reached there and rescued the freshers.
