Six students of Gaur university booked for ragging

Sagar (MP), Oct 28 (PTI) A first year student of law was allegedly ragged by six senior students of Hari Singh Gour University here, police said.

"We have received a ragging complaint from Apoorv Shukla, a first year student of LLB course, which is being looked into seriously," Varsity Joint Proctor Prof. U S Gupta told PTI.

In his complaint, Apoorv has said that while he was sitting in front of the law department, his seniors Rajkumar and five others asked him to stand up to respect them and thrashed him.

"We have registered a case against Rajkumar and five others on the complaint of Apoorv for beating him," Civil Lines Area City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Dinesh Koushal said.

This is the second case of alleged ragging being reported from the university in last three months.

Why ragging cannot be stopped in our country? Once upon a time it was a country of Monks and it is a country of criminals only who are dominating others. They dare to do ragging because there is no punishment in our country.
