Tiruchirappalli (TN), Oct 27 (PTI) Three students of the Government College of Physiotherapy here were arrested today for allegedly ragging and beating up three first year students, police said.
They were arrested following a complaint by college authorities, they said.
On a complaint by the father of one of the victims P.
Sankar, Dean of the K A P Viswanathan Government Medical College, also the in-charge of the physiotherapy college, conducted an inquiry and found that the senior students, all hostelers, had harassed and beaten up the freshers yesterday.
The arrested students have been suspended, college officials said.
