Dibrugarh University student expelled from hostel for ragging

The student, SurenPegu from Dhemaji, was found guilty of ragging a newcomer of the same department. Prof JitenHazarika of DU said the victim's brother had complained to the university authorities about the incident which occurred some days ago. A probe was conducted, following which the student was expelled.
