Students of Jharkhand and Bihar, studying in Synergy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Dhenkanal, were allegedly beaten up by local students of the college on Friday.
The college administration has asked all the students to vacate the hostel immediately.
The local students were angry after the seniors from Bihar and Jharkhand prevented them from ragging their juniors from these states a few days ago.
