Agriculture College student thrashed by senior in MP

Indore, Sep 13 (PTI) A 20-year-old student of Government Agriculture College here was today allegedly beaten up by seniors, police said. Anil Dhangar suffered serious injuries in the attack in the institute's premises, they said. The B.Sc first year student had opposed the recent ragging of his and that of 20 others by seniors and was going to the college Dean to file a complaint. However, when the seniors came to know about his plan, they assaulted him. They did not spare even his brother and other friends who tried to protect him, police said. On a complaint lodged by Dhangar, police have registered a case against five senior students and their other unidentified associates under relevant sections of IPC. A search has been launched for the attackers, they added.
