Inter student alleges ragging

HYDERABAD: In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old second year intermediate student of a private college here alleged on Thursday that he was locked up in his room and physically assaulted by his classmates as they did not approve of his friendship with juniors.

“They also forced me to write a suicide note stating that I killed myself of my own accord and that nobody is responsible,” the alleged victim, M Sharavan Kumar, a BPC student of Chaitanya Residential Junior College, Bachupally, told TOI over phone from Vijayalakshmi Nursing Home in Malkajgiri where he was admitted with injuries.
